Tara Thurman

Tara Thurman is from New Bern, North Carolina. She is a journalism major with a minor in musical theater. She is a part of the Tri Sigma sorority and the Communication Fellows program, where she serves on the student board. She currently does freelance writing for the High Point Enterprise as she worked as a summer intern there.

 

Writing along with arts and entertainment have always been a big part of Tara’s life. She knew she always wanted to be a storyteller, but her journey has taken her from the stage to the page. In her free time, she likes to listen to music and go see local plays and musicals. She aspires to be an arts and entertainment writer or opinion columnist for the New York Times after graduation.
