Akeana Rootes

Akeana Rootes is from Latham, New York. She loves that she can call HPU her home away from home and is so excited to contribute to The View Point.  She has three younger sisters and a beagle named Violet. She loves playing basketball, watching sports, hanging out with friends and family, and of course reading and writing. 

 

She is a junior at HPU and is majoring in journalism and specializing in sports media. Her dream job is to be a sports journalist for ESPN .
