Cate Dilday
Cate Dilday is a current freshman at High Point University majoring in journalism and minoring in musical theater. She is from Winston Salem, NC and is the youngest of three sisters.
She loves to sing and act in plays and musicals. Some of her most favorite roles that she has played include Little Red Riding Hood from Into the Woods, Miss Honey from Matilda, and Lydia from Pride and Prejudice. She plans on continuing her love for performing here at High Point University, getting involved with as many theater related activities that she can. At the beginning of the school year, Cate auditioned and got accepted into the Collision Worship Band here as a vocalist which performs for the chapels on Wednesday nights and Sunday nights.

Besides performing, Cate enjoys being involved in service projects because she believes it is important to give back to the community. To further that ambition for giving back, she recently became a part of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at High Point which participates in many social events, charity fundraisers, and overall allows you to meet so many new friends.

Cate hopes to become a news anchor in the future and her end goal is to work for the "Today Show" in New York City. She is very excited to gain more experience in the area of journalism that will help her achieve her goals through being a member of the View Point team and also being in the Communications Fellowship.
